Wedding Venues and Wedding Sites

What’s Best for Your Wedding?

This is likely the most important decision for your wedding. The wedding venue reflects your personality, sets the mood for your wedding and is often the larger part of your budget.

After you choose your wedding venue, everything can start falling into place more easily.

So have fun, and explore various options for wedding venues that you might not have considered. And even if some venues seem out of your reach, it’s still fun to explore!

Should Your Wedding Ceremony and Reception be at the Same Location?

Generally, wedding reception venues offer options for your wedding ceremony as well. Many have separate outdoor wedding sites and some may also have a separate chapel. Having your full wedding at the same location is certainly convenient.

Yet there are many good reasons for your ceremony and wedding reception to be at different locations. Other than a church wedding, a ceremony can be on a beach, or a mountain top. Then afterwards, the reception can be at a wedding venue or wedding hall, located nearby.

For destination weddings, the ceremony and celebration can happen at a far away location with a small number of guests. Then, at a later date, you can still have a full blown reception for everyone back home.
