Lessen Your Wedding Day Stress by Delegating

Why Should You Delegate the Details?

Many couples choose a venue and/or caterer that takes care of many of the wedding day details such as setting up flowers along the aisle, reception tables and chairs, placing linens and place settings, placing centerpieces and other decorations, providing food and bar service and clean up.

If your ceremony or reception is in a no-frills facility or if you are budget conscious and your facility allows, then you can delegate many of these tasks to others. Just remember to do so!

One of the worst things that can happen on your wedding day is to be totally stressed because you are worried about all of the reception and ceremony details in addition to whether your lipstick is smudged or your tie isn't on straight. By carefully delegating tasks to family and friends, well before the wedding day, you will lessen your stress immensely from the start. The watchword is careful. Make sure that you select people who are appropriate for the task, will have time to do it properly and won't stress themselves.

Take a few slow deep breaths and count to ten. Then get ready to delegate!
