Wedding Cheesecake

loving_hearts To do offer something a bit different, a bride and groom can have a wedding cheesecake or (more than one!) as their custom wedding cake. Of course the couple must like cheesecake!

Flavors, Crusts and Toppings for Wedding Cheesecakes

Numerous flavors, crusts and toppings are available to suit most anyone’s tastes. Flavors range from chocolate to raspberry swirl to key lime to banana mango to almond amaretto. Possible crusts for the bottom and optionally, the sides of the cakes, can be traditional graham cracker or chocolate cookie wafer or hazelnut or almond or gingersnaps. Fresh fruit such as strawberries or other berries are always great for topping these cakes.

Displaying Cheesecake Wedding Cakes

Your cheesecake wedding cake may be tiered, iced and decorated like traditional wedding cakes or topped with fresh fruit and displayed on elegant plates at the cake table. If you are having your cheese cake frosted, then a white cream cheese icing works very nicely. Alternatively, the bottom of the round or square cakes, whether tiered or not, can be encircled with satin ribbons in the bridal colors, for a very high-class effect.

You can get wedding cheesecake stands to display your cakes. Sometimes these may be either loaned to you or rented for your wedding day from the company from which you order your cheese wedding cakes. Adornments can be fresh or silk flowers and a monogrammed cake topper (or bride and groom)may still sit atop your cheese wedding cake.

Other Wedding Cheesecake Ideas

Just to note when considering how many cheese cakes you will need, a ten inch round cheesecake will generally serve between 12 and 16 persons.

Some wedding cake professionals will specialize in cheesecakes while other bakers will bake traditional wedding cakes as well. For those guests that are lactose intolerant, vegan or on a sugar free diet, a couple can have some quality confections, cookies or small cakes arrayed that fit these dietary restrictions so all the guests can have something sweet to eat!

Look at a wedding cheesecake photo gallery for ideas that suit your style, personality and wedding them, then ask your chosen wedding baker for suggestions.
