A gift does not have to be serious or practical to be the right gift. There are many funny gifts around. I remember we bought a pepper grinder to give as a grab bag item at a Christmas party. It was in the shape of a chef. Every time you turned it to grind the pepper, the chef said, “Oh, my aching back”. It was hilarious. Afterward, I wanted to get one for us, but they were sold out.
The point is that even for a wedding or romantic gift, an anniversary or housewarming gift, or a holiday gift, you may be decide that a light-hearted or humorous gift is right for the recipient.
For a wedding gift, if the style is set by a funny cake topper for example, then this couple may appreciate a funny gift.
