Favor Your Guests with a Wedding Memory and Don’t Break the Bank Doing It – Makuta
You need to remember that your guests are attending your wedding to share in a joyous occasion, mingle with other guests and enjoy the food and festivities. While they may like the idea of returning home with a wedding keepsake, that keepsake does not need to cost you a bundle.
When you multiply the cost of an individual wedding favor by 100 guests, this can figure as a more major chunk of your budget. To save some of that budget for other parts of the wedding, you may need to be creative. Here are just 3 ideas:
Idea 1) – You can order some wedding rice bags, fill them with 5 jordan almonds, a traditional wedding treat, and tie them with ribbons. The ribbons can be white satin, or the bride’s favorite color or the color of the bridesmaids’ dresses.
Idea 2) – If you are handy with computer illustration software, how about making a wedding book-marker? You can create a bookmark with a pre-wedding photo of the bride and groom on one side and the couple’s names and wedding date on the reverse side. Further personalize this with a saying or quote that is meaningful to the newlyweds. The book-marker can then be reproduced and laminated. But wait – here is another use for ribbon! Just punch a hole in the middle of one end of the bookmark and tie a ribbon through it!
Idea 3) – Buy tiny clay pots at the local home improvement or arts and crafts store and fill them with seed packets. These make nice place settings as well.
