Cool Romantic Getaways

Romance is the poetry of literature – Longfellow

It doesn’t need to be Valentine’s day for you to plan a getaway. There are many inns or hotels with spa suites or hot tubs under the starry skies. You may also consider a Couples Retreat in some exotic or close by location. These retreats could include counseling sessions for couples in a group setting or just be a fantastic vacation that will improve your relationship.

Many lodges also offer special romantic packages that may include a scrumptious dinner with champagne or just chocolates and flowers. A bed and breakfast is a great place for a cozy, adult, romantic getaway. B & Bs also may offer romantic packages that include more than a hot breakfast that is personally prepared by the staff, though this in itself is usually worth the stay. Why not consider a romantic weekend at a Colorado Bed and Breakfast?

If you are an urban explorer or love nightlife, why not see the Big Apple (otherwise known as New York City)? You can experience one of the special New York City tours. Ride a double decker bus through the Big Apple or see the skyline from a Circle Line river tour or even from a Helicopter. You don’t have to be just a sight seer from afar – Why not romance it ala Sleepless in Seattle at the top of the Empire State Building.

Other options let you listen to Gospel Music in Harlem or see the Hotspots from Sex and the City. Of course, you can use priceline.com to arrange for your flights and your hotel in the heart of Manhattan. Be sure also to reserve tix for a Broadway show to see while you’re there!
