In our modern culture, very few couples still meet their partners by arranged relationships. They date, of course!
The old days were simple times with regard to dating. But now, dating has taken on so many facets. Folks have so many - almost too many options for meeting one another. From clubs, to social networking web-sites to subscription daing to personal recommendations to blind dates - from schools to offices to waiting areas at the airport or doctors office. Just strike up a conversation and who knows where it will lead? But you hope someday to meet the right person, not just a short-time friend.
Dating usually starts when we are teenagers. And these relationships are not often serious ones resulting in a long term committment. Of course adults date as well, and the suggestions we offer are primarily intended for adult dating.
